Ok i hope you experts to find an answer for me since i am very confused regarding this...i have a DGstation Cube Revo HD PVR Ready dual tunner...(this is what the box and manual says)but I could nt find the model on dgstation official website so i am not sure.Also i found some details on the subject saying that actually what i have is an oem version of the receiver AB Ip Box 9000HD..but nothing on my receiver has the ab mark as it shows on some photos i found of that receiver...i am very confused...

I read the beginers guide and when i connect to the receiver from telnet i get an answer AB welcome..so i assume that atleast the software is AB..but i dont know if this is the factory software or it has been replaced..

Any help will be very appreciated

It is the same box released by two companies under two different names (cuberevo and ipbox9000). You apparently got a Cuberevo by Dgstation. Both dgstation and abcom release firmwares although dgstation guys are where everything originates from.
You got nothing to worry about in any case. And Cuberevo is listed on Dgstation website.

Thanks again rocknroll for the reply..the thing is that i dont know how to spwsify what it is because when i telnet i get ab com welcome..shall i assume that they changed the soft from the shop i get it?how i can find what is the version of ab com installed to know if i will update it or not?

Again...let me clear things..i get the receiver from a retail shop that has a s***r.After a while they close the shop and now i stuck with the receiver..so i am trying to find a solution so i can use it and maybe get signal from other s***r..

ps i hope i did not broke any forum rules

press on menu--->information--->system information you will see what version of ABcom image under program version....

ok can you please explain the info below to get an idea of what i have to update or not?

Product Name: AB IPBox 9000HD
Micom Version: 08.03.28
Boot Version: April 21 2008 and time
Program Version: 0.0.a (R8630)
PCB Version: VE
DB Version:R8118

Also i download the latest Pc Editor and i try to backup the iomage on receiver in case i make a mess and i get a warning " You need a hard disk to backup this image!" what i do wrong?

you dont needto back up..if you mess same think just flast other image......

image on your box is runing ok .....just install ab addon you will have the mgcamd emuklator so and you can start enjoy the channels...abcom image they dont have many plugins install if you want plugins you must do it manual instalation.... other option is

first flash the box with orginal dgs image r7473....

after you can install NLB or Sifteam image in thismod images they will have many option e.g....start/stop emu online plugin download change skin from remote and much more.....

current image sifteam is r9341...
