installing skins on DM800

please show me how to install non IPK skin packages into DM800

Send the File with an FTP Program to /usr/share/enigma2
Set Attributes to 755
Open that File and set Attributes on the
Main Folders to 755 and 644 to all other
Files Inside the Folders.
Reboot the Box

To install IPK packages

FTP the ipk package to the tmp folder at the root of your image.

Now use the addons manager manual install, select the IPK and install.

After the install it's always good to do a soft reboot.

having done that to install 'enigma2 SWAIN Skin 0.0.3 all' GOT a green screen!!

when you say open folder,set attributes 755 to main folder and 644 to others....after uncompressing I get ONE folder only!!!

my DM800 is a clone with Nabilo 0.9 in..will you please help
