@tom Yes. Just rename it to usb_upgrade.img and flash it like normal image - it will take just few seconds...

It contain enumeration of sturtup setup: what should be started, in which sequences, etc. One of most importany function of uboot, - impossibility to kill receiver if something going wrong during flash base firmware image.

I'm totally new to this. Yesterday I got my new 9000 hd and I flashed the image AB_9000HD_230109_r8873_usb_all_noboot.zip . a lot of things have gone wrong. After erasing and flashing the word "panic" appeared. The blue light is on in standby mode. When i scan the channels by tps the whole satelite gets downloaded. The screen freezes. Please leat me know of what I have to do to rectify the situation. I have become very nervous after acquiring an expensive receiver. How do i delete this flashed image from the receiver to start all over again. Please help. Thanks from Spain.

try reflashing with another image nlb8728 or SifTeam r8873 for IP9000.

Hi, for this kind of image when you flash another image it delet the image which already is on the box , use nlb or sifteam the latest image (r8873) and then use uboot 1.3.3 that is all ,

tryed it all
with USB stick ( renamed it usb_update.img)
With FTP ( WinSCP )
With Relook PCEditor
With Webif update ( NLB Image )
just to find out it only works with flashtools 1.02
so don't try otherways it will not work !! ( atleast here )
Just connect your USB cable with the host entry and start Flashtools 2 sec later all works

uboot disaster

cuberevo boot problem
apparently i flashed my cuberevo with wrong uboot version or sometin
and as a result no usb/serial connection available any more to connect and update
also telnet and webif bootloader update is impossible (returns ERROR [no err# mentioned])
somehow bootloader write protected against any further modifications.
i suspect i flashed the uboot of another wrong but similar RELOOK receiver (i suspect SANDALI boot)
i'm not sure if it is possible or not ,maybe i'm wrong about that
after power up it shows some strange charracters and numbers on front panel display but continues to boot.

however
when i tried telnet update by these commands;
-sh-3.00# echo usb_uboot.img >images
-sh-3.00# update.sh /tmp /tmp/images

i get this as result;

CRC32 OK
got uboot image.
erase 9ffc0000 - 9fffffff
MEMERASE: Invalid argument
Oops!!!.
Your system could NOT updated properly.
System cannot boot in next power up.
Try to update to DGStation official flash image with FlashTool.
Press power key to reboot the system.

I cannot connect to the ipbox with flashtool because i cannot get the box into flash mode serial or usb.

boot image update by own receiver menu via usb stick AND nlb panel options don't work either.
already tried holding power button, and holding power+up arrow while turning the box on, or try power+right arrow , no result.
