On startup on any channel it blinks for second randomly, it goes away after being on for while, is it trying to load epg info? I have all my kit going through a UPS (electrics are not too good in my house it knocked out my sat motor a couple of years ago and more recently a light switch.) My EPG doesn't load fully do I need to keep the box on overnight and not switch power off from the mains?
It is odd because sometimes when I connected via the web interface it would say my box was 60 minutes out of sync with the PC when the time on the box was correct.
I think because I have my dish pointed to a european satelite it is updating from that and that in turn is causing kaos with my cable epg. as it is still not all there and loads of gaps but at least I am not losing feed randomly.
