How to: Use / activate original smrt cards on DM 7020 GEMINI 4.6 or original image

Was trying to find this guide on forum ...

Could someone explain what are the steps to activate and use IRDETO smart card ( ART TV Card ) on DM 7020 but not using card sharing settings with next images:

a)GEMINI 4.6 E1

b) with original image from dream multimedia ?

What plugins or software... I need and what are the steps in a) and b) cases ?

I was trying to get instructions before I "burn" or ruin the card to be sure how to do it.

Is that mean it is not possible to do it in original images from dream multimedia

Do they supply any emu for irdeto 2

If not why they produced box with two smart card readers - are these any good without emu?

Is there any other emu for irdeto 2 to be used on original image or gemini image but one that is not capable to do CS?

I need EMU that is not commonly used in CS

Is there any official support from DREAM MULTIMEDIA on how to run irdeto 2 cards without CS emus

If you install a CCcam that dosent mean that is used only for cs.CCcam can help your box to read a card.
An emu (CCcam) u can use
to read a card
for CS
and for (like)Emu.

This is not working

and on another forums they say internal card reader cannot be used for irdeto 2

Washington, m8 I ve made it work with Scam 3.29a but still I beleive this is illegal way.

I ll have to buy another receiver or irdeto CAM

Yes I believe it is illegal way of using it because Dream Multimedia says it is.

And If I have software way of decrypting card a software of such a kind of being capable to perform CS I believe it is illegal to use such software also for original card even if you do not CS becasue there is no way to prove why you have installed it anyway if in any case authority inspects your hardware.


Only in case I could have EMU being only capable to EMULATE but not to CS that it may be considered as legal.

also if you look at ART terms and conditions there is something fishy there about the way you gona use hardware and software on ART card and then it looks like you are braking the agreement even if you do not CS.

To be more precise here is one example :

Let's say instead normal car keys every day when you open your car you use skeleton key. It is your key and it is your car. But, then imagine neighbor or even police officer see you doing it?!

How the hell you gona prove what have you done? An how much time you will spend with police.And possessing suck skeleton key is even considered illegal so they will mark you as suspicious.

So my reflections about Scam are the same.

No no.I am sure that is not ilegal at all.for exp in germany many have only dreamboxes to watch premierewith originalcard and nobody say it that is ilegal.With SKY is the same history.
Only think is that that if your card will be damaged 8they are or be not responsible for that.
So dont worry,Use it!

I think you have a point there.
I do not want to give up of my DM cause mainly I use it to save shows and watch them on free time.
