Hi All.

I'm new here and new to Dreambox's.

Can anyone help me on how to tune my DM800 HDse? I finally got my dreambox fixed yesterday after a week, i had "R01 CA NOT FOUND" error . Now i would like to get my channels up and running.

I need mostly English channels (Movies, TV Series) , BBC, Al Jazeera Sports, National Geographic, Animal Planet, SKY, Adult and all other good stuff.

Or please send me a link on how to do it Step by Step. Sorry but been trying and have no clue what everyone is talking about lol.

Thanks

You have not told us how many dishes you have connected to your system.

I have one dish, it has 3 LNB's on it, not sure if all LNB's are ok, i have no idea how to check them. Everything used to work a few months ago ie all free and paid channels, i was away for 4 months and just got back a few weeks ago. I used to have a satellite guy but he cheated me, also i would rather learn myself, i find it very interesting and something new to do :)

Also my satellite guy used to change 1 LNB everytime he updated my dreambox, he always said it was faulty or something like that, another way i think he was using to make a bit more money.

To make sure that all your LNBs are working correctly, you need to make a direct connection from the one in the center of your dish to your receiver (bypassing your switch).
Assuming that your dish has not moved and it is alligned properly, you will get a clear signal.
You can now check the other 2 lnbs by puting them (one at a time) in place od the central one.
Now that you have established that they are all ok.
You can put the 2 lnbs back in the bracket and try tunig your satellites through the diseq switch by going to:
setup > Tuner configuration> simple.
Set the Diseq ports as per your satellites.
First satellite= AA,
Second Satellite= AB,
Third Satellite= BB,
BA (empty since yo have only 3 satellites)
Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Manual search.
Select single transponder or single satellite.
Select network search.

If your central LNB is not giving any signal try repacing the central LNB with the other ones.
If all of them are not giving you any signals then your dish is not alligned properly and you need to sort this first.
