How to install plugins and Picon

could you please tell me , how to install plugin(file extension, directiry etc) and how install Picons ?

Must plugins can be found in ipk format or in some form or tarball even Picons.

In these formats they can simply be transfered to the tmp folder at the root of the image and then installed by using the addons manager.

Tell us what image and what plugins you want to install and we can then advice better.

Hello,

having Newnigma 2.7 and trying to put picons to
directory but after restart of box I can not see these icons.
Do I have configure something more ?:mecry:

You will need to configure the path to the picons for your image to find them.

Picons are best used on USB.

How can I make this configuration ? to tell to the image
read picons from flash for example..I made already in newnigma
but with out success. sorry.
I install picon and the I change OSD to internal flash but no success.

you mean to install picons to usb....

Hi mate

On newnigma the storage device needs to be mounted for the picons to work.

Only mounted devices now available for picon installations

Is you USB stick mounted correctly?

I do not know what is going wrong but
after make the last change and save with green button,
does not asking me reboot.....
may I made something wrong ?
is problem in image ?

I install picons from Newnigma online installer.
I already try restart without success.

i have same issue too. I have "picon" folder with picons on my USB mounted onto New enigma2 image in my DM800se. selected location too in OSD settings as mentioned above but still no picon. is there any specific skin for picon?

Rename 'picon' folder to 'piconHD'.
