how to do for the keys

i download the keys and put in /var folder but it doesn't work with mgcamd1.30

how i must do ??

Get a ftp programme and ftp the file into the right folder mate. Should be var/keys. you do it over the lan.

but I have to connect the ipbox 9000 to the router or I can connect it with ethernet cable directly to pc using ftp program?

Connect it to the router, so the router gives the box an IP address. set the IPbox to DHCP in "menu" "advanced setup" IP setup.

There is no way to connect it directly to the pc , right?

Hi niniciccia,

You could try setting the IP address and default gateway etc manually on the ipbox and on your pc, then use a crossover network cable to connect it straight to your box. That should work.

It would be a lot easier with a router though, as the router would sort out the settings for you.

Ok perfect it works fine now.
I put the folder keys and scee in var.
A question , how many file of the keys folder I have to put in?
Because when I download keys I found : softccam autoupdate etc.
I have to put all files , or maybe only one it's enough?

I'm still working that bit out myself! I would say you have to put all the files in, otherwise they will not work. I've only had my box for a few weeks, and i'm still learning off other peoples posts.

And I don't know where your from, but your english is very good.

usually you use magcamd for the keys , or other emu cam for the ipbox 9000?
