I got back from my holidays to find when i switch the box on the fan is too noisy.

re start many times and still noisy.

i took it out and sprayed a little oil on it and it is still too noisy .

also re positioned it and still the same .

Now ive got it switched off.

will this damage my box with the fan switched off ?
Or should i buy a new fan ?

You should buy a new fan that makes less noise. It is not a good idea to use the box without it for long.

Have you any idea about which fan buying? The 2pin connector of the fan of Ipbox 9000 is not standard. Do it exist a fan with this particular connector?
Thanks a lot.

Yo can buy any fan. 3 pins on widely distributed fans:
GND, +12V and rotation sensor. Last one used by special HW on PC motherboard for example for control fan speed rotation. You can do not use this last connector in Cuberevo case. Just insert in to your old fan connector two pins with GND and +12V from new fan.

it is a known fault on the 9000. usually noisey from cold boot, use standby instead of shut down.don't take it out until you have replacement.:thum:
