How do you move a channel on a TM 3000d

Hi Tried to move and sorth channels on my M8 tm3000d followed the Intstuctions in the Manual. and It dont work. I hve a 5400 and its almost the same only when you have moved the channel to the position you want you press th Info button and the chanel moves.. This dont work on the 3000d. Any one know...

Go to edit channels yellow to move now press the record button put in the number you want it be

yes you need to press REC button.
