How do I install a USB harddrive?

Hi,

I have an external USB harddrive connected to the Qbox. The harddrive is formated with EXT3 and I use the Q-Active image.
The problem is that the autodetect function for the hdd does not work and when using dmesg to find what device it is connected to I only get rubbish, like "configuration #1 chosen from one configuration".

Have anyone had problems with the qbox hanging once powering up the USB hdd?

Yes, I have the same problem, the USB 3.5 HDD disks are not recognized for Qbox. Try the usb 2.5 HDD, i've tryed a Usb pendisk and works.
