My name is André and I'm currently both living in switzerland and portugal.
Since a few years, the TV world interests me and I wanted to get my hands in for a lot of time.
Last month, a friend moved from a country to another, and gave me two Dreamboxes (DM800HD and DM800) that were already set up in switzerland.
I took one, updated the Softcam.key file and continued using it in Switzerland, getting encrypted channels with success (DM800HD).
This week, I moved to Portugal, and bring my DM800 (that has no remote controle) to Portugal. I thought it would be a matter of changing the key file, and scanning again the frequencies.
Unfortunately, can't find new codes that unlock encrypted channels in Portugal, especially the ones I want to see :
- Sport TV (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- BTV (or Benfica TV)
So I decided that it was time to register on a specific website, start reading, learning and understanding how these things work and maybe get some help from some of you, as I'm in this domain what we call a "newbie".
Hope I will find my answers, will be helped and will be able to help some newbies after that for my own.
