You can still scan some dvb-s channels out there and play around its image.

Yes. Ive run into some challenges off the bat though. 1 I need a satellite dish, which Im picking up tomorrow...
Another one which im guessing might be a bigger problem. My tv shows only a flickering and no menu from the dreambox. If I hit the powerswitch. It sometimes says Switch: service not found. but in a flickering.. hmmm any ideas? Maybe i need a dish plugged in to actually get a menu?

Better download DCC on your PC then scan the IP of your dreambox. Also its good to flash new image to your dreambox to refresh it.
