HF 8900 HD hard-reset

Please help me!
Proszę pomóżcie!

Receiver show software number on the display and reboot again. I disconnected main cord in 2 hrs but it doesn't help! How to do a hard-reset?

Odbiornik pokazuje numer oprogramowania i startuje na nowo. Odłączyłem zasilanie na 2 godz. ale nie pomogło. Jak zrobić twardy start?

Hi Pico,
Try this, as quick as u can n b4 the STB self reboot, press the menu button on your remote,select RESET 2 FACTORY SETTING then ok After re-boot, re install firmware driver through USB or RSA After boot STB will start with lang,sat,time etc screen

Hi Harith!
Thank you 4 help!
I tried it many times but I come only to password (third digit) when it reboot again!
I’ve been asking around and someone tall me that it can be hardware. Receiver was overheated and some connection released and now it brakes every time it gets hot.
I wonder if someone on this site has schematic of the receiver and can e-mail it to me. So I could look after the place myself because to send the receiver overseas is to expensive for me.

Good morning,
since this morning I have the same problem like the other board member...But even after at least thousand tries I cannot access any menu...The receiver still reboots and rebbots. Does somebody have an idea? I tried to put the usb key directly but with the constant reboot it does not self update...

I am steal waiting for help :mecry:
I contacted seller last year and he ask me to send receiver to him for repair. He wrote that "that is known issue that some IC get hot and unsolder itself and connect again when become cold and so on" But refused/couldn't tell me which IC it was. And I refused to send the receiver to him to the price he asked so it is laying on the shelf and become very dirty now
I steal hope that someone help us and I wish it to you too
