Hi Ferret,
I've got a DM500HD. Always worked brilliant.
A friend of mine thinks of getting one himself.
But you say VU+ Duo is better. In what way is it better please? I will share this info with him.

Same CPU spec

The VU Duo is twin tuner, 2 card readers full sized box so internal HDD can be used it also has front display showing current channels etc 3 USB slots 2 CI slots.

All in all you get a lot more hardware for your money.
