help required

i normaly use a dreambox se
but santa has giving me a vu+ duo for xmas
ive installed a 3.5 sata hdd
but i was wondering what you guys recommend as image and plugins etc?
i normaly use vix team channel on static dish
but this will replace my se on a motor in which case i use catseyes unless vix team do a motor list?

one tuner will be fed off of a motor and the othe tuner
will be on a static,so therefore hoping to be able to watch 13east example ,and record bbc1 scotland etc ,is this possible guys?

any advice would be appreicated thanks

Works perfectly on that setup,I have one tuner on static dish pointed at 28.2 e and the other tuner motorised.Using vlc on my laptop, I can move my dish and watch channels on the laptop and 28,2 on the tele.

If your used to using the Vix Image stick with it. I would give Blackhole a run though to see if you like it

I have a static dish and a motor on my VU. I find it better to have the motor hooked up to tuner b with my fixed on 28e as tuner a always gets picked for recordings in my case if i had the motorised on tuner a recordings would defult to that and render the motorrised locked.

My fixed dish is on tuner B and unless it is being used recordings on 28e always default to B. I know this as the motorised dish is rarely left on 28e.It seems the Duo detects what sat the tuners are on.
