help please

My desktop does not boot not even when i put the cd in. I have windows xp and when i turn on my computer it keeps saying start windows in normal and when i select it, it turns off and on by itself, i even tried safe mode but nothing happens. Can anyone help ? Thanks

if you have two rams and one of them is burnt then this could cause the problem if you have only 1 ram then sorry cant help ( maybe a viruse and hard drive is srcewed

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus,disk defragmantation or backup utilities.Check your hard diskconfiguration and check for any updated drivers. Run chkdsk/f tocheck for hard drive corruption and than restart your computer.

Well I guess you'll have to boot to your windows cd and perhaps try repair option. It shouldn't effect your data.

Or maybe you can try booting to floppy with this tool:

From what I read it helped people with similar problems.

But that's all providing your hard drive isn't damaged beyond repair.
