I have a original dreambox dm100s brought from dreamboxshop.co.uk 1 1/2 months ago.
I live in a modern block of flat where the dish's are pre installed. Everything was working fine and I could view all the channels on astra 28.2 & hotbird 13 till Friday and suddenly while viewing a channel the box started to show no signal on most of the channels.
I have got my legal sky box (pace) connected next to my dreambox which showed all fta channels working correctly.
So I did a factory reset and tried to scan but it shows signal strength 53% and signal quality 10-27%. there is hardly any lock on astra and absolutely no signal quality on hotbird. After rescan it shows about 160 channels ( astra 28.2) ( fta and paid) only which work ok with cccam. But now I get very few channels and even itv comes as a paid channel which is strange as it is fta.
Tried changing to original fw ( images ), new and old fw but I get the same result. I am using the same Diseqc setting as before but I only get 160 channels on astra 28.2 and no lock and no channels on Hotbird.
As I live in flat and don't own the dish I can't make any change or check. But my legal sky box is working fine connected to the same cable ( just to check the signal ).
What might be wrong? Is it the tuner? Please help......
