Help ! no reception BBC3 & BBC4

Hi Guys,

I am unable to get picture or sound on BBC3 & BBC4. I have rescanned the relevant transponder and other channels on the transponder all work eg. BBC2 England, BBC1 London, CBeebies CBBC. I have the same on 2 boxes both running the latest Sifteam DGS image. I am using Mgcamd 1.35, although these channels aren't encrypted. Any suggestions are welcome. Do I need to delete these channels before I rescan ?

No, BBC 3 & 4 uses the same frequencies as CBBC & CBeebies. They run back to back. What happens is that the PMT-pid gets changed. You have to mannually add the PMT-pid using PC_Editor.

I assume you scanned during the day, so CBBC & CBeebies will have the PMT-pids, BBC 3 & 4 won't.

Here are the PMT-pids for all 4 channels:

BBC THREE 266
BBC FOUR 265
CBeebies 261
CBBC 262

If the Cuberevo doesn't see the channel PMT-pid then it always asigns 8191 as the PMT. It is this number you need to replace with the correct one above and BBC 3 & 4 will work fine.
