Help no power!!!!

Hello all i have a dm500s and im trying to set up the motor which is a darkmotor compatible with 1.2 reicevers i plug the cabe ito my reicever to get power and i get nothing.. no power at all please help..

Why you are think that no power?
You are check it with a digitall cable tester???

Are you saying you have no green or red light on Dreambox, or you have no power going to the motor?

help.

Have been trying for ages got my tv and everything outside... no light light up on the motor east/west buttons dont work..

So the motor is not moving ok. Is this a new motor?

You can try this although im not sure of your image. This give a little more power to you motor. On your remote.

Menu-Setup-Service Searching-Satellite Configuration

Highlight LNB0 and click ok enable the increased voltage option save and reboot your dreambox.

Have you setup your gotox/ usuals coordinates?

brand new setup new motor new everything just going to try what you said.. thanks brb

And if you are have not a multimetr...
You are can not 100% test voltage!

And for example in my coutry more using a Usals protocol!
It automaticaly find satellites...!

And you are must on motor push a botton!
Go to 0 (that motor install in zero position!)

In the sat configuration menu what is the top option set to?

It should say many sats by diseqc or something of the nature.

And then inpit your usuals coordinates.

Ive just plugged it all in again and now its randomly started to work ive been at it for hours... thanks for your help guys im now going to try and find true south using thor.?
