Yep, when its less windy ill try to move my dish to other sats (while its windy it might miss align etc)Sounds like you are getting there.
So it looks as though you dish was originally out of lineUpdate: 18/2/23, I Have successfully moved my dish to 16E , Going to Try other sats aswell fingers crossed
not it wasnt to far out just to low to the ground, now i added it to the pole im getting full signal again , turns out 16e is 19.2e (when checking a channel frequency) gonna move dish againSo it looks as though you dish was originally out of line
im able to move my dish from thor 0.8w to astra 28.2e, 13e using my hellobox 8 just cant find 16e, 7e, 9e, 23.5e now
i checked theres nothing in the line of sight, so i should be able to pick up 10e, 7e, 23.5e etc just fine but for some reason when i select 23.5e, 10e, 7e etc it just moves to 13e for some weird reason but ill keep trying even if i have to move the dish a few stepsAs 28.2E is so strong, you could be picking it up with a partly obscured line of sight. If there is partly obscured line of sight it might account for why you are not getting 23.5E. However, as you get closer to the centre of the arc the dish is aiming higher and there would be less obstruction to line of sight.
It's just a simple bit of maths to calculate if there is obstruction to line of sight. Just measure the distance from the lower rim of the dish to any possible obstructions and use the dishpointer app obstruction calculator to let you know per satellite if you have clear line of sight.
