Help needed with trex twin module.

My cam has just died, I have a cas2 and infinity usb unlimited for the loader card, is all lost. A cas 3 costs more than an echolink 777 so not sure which to buy, or is it possible to patch any other way. I used to repair flexible pcb so soldering a few wires to reflash not a problem. Can anyone help?

Update, I have been given a cas3 but no loader card, could anyone please, please photograph both sides of a dummy card as clearly up as possible and give info on the component(assuming a diode) attatched to the 20 pinconnector on the card. Any success in this direction I will write up with photos and pass on to the forum, I suspect the 20 pin cable can be wired direct to the cam without the need for a dummy card.

Thanks but I already have this, need better photo of dummy card as cannot see all connections. it must be possible to connect direct as dummy card only has one component. Also need number of what I assume is a diode on the dummy card 20 pin connector.

I don't know if this will help, but I found it easier to trace the contacts on the dummy card back to the connector. Then solder here.:thum: The contacts are very flimsy.
I am thinking of making up a lead straight from the Cas now I know pins, because it's less to solder and go wrong.:thum:

PS. Ive done one Xcam and one Trex with it, but it is fiddly. Tape wies to card and cam (if they move the contacts come off forever).

My main probem is I have cas 3 but no dummy card so need connection details(cct diagram woulb be better) of the dummy card so I can make up a patch lead from cas3 connector to trex cam direct including components on a bit of veroboard.

Hi all this is my first post so please be gentle
I have a Cas interface 3 plus
with a few cams...T-rex twin,Matrix,matrix Revolution,and matrix reloaded.
Ive read loads and understood 5%ish
I dont know what files or codes or keys to get/use..any help for a complete newbie would be appriciated
