Hi guys, I bought a verbatim 500 Gb external hard drive and my situation is this: I have a vu+solo clone and e dm800 sim 2.01, the dm800 does not even recognize my HDD, tried many images in flash and in multiboot even with an usb hub which have external power supply, no luck. Tried it on my vu+solo and it recognizes it only plugged directly and with the image in flash, managed to initalise and to mount it. So it work ok on my vu+solo now and tried it for a test after it was initalised in the dm800 but no luck. Now using NFS i could manage to play my recordings to the dm800 from the HDD plugged in the vu+solo, what I need is I want to record from the dm800 but I cannot as the recording path cannot be changed in my dm800, I think it is possible but i don't know how. My image on dm800 is openpli 2.1 and on my vu+solo italysat 4.0, I'll appreciate any help, thank you!!

Ok i found it by myself and it worked, i followed this instruction for changing path to a usb stick but in my case i changed it to the vusolo hard drive, here it is if someone need it:
if your usb stick is formated in the dm800
try this
press video twice
press menu
switch to file list and press ok
press ok on parent directory
scroll to list of storage devices press ok
should give you option
lower usb slot
usb stick
internal flash
at the bottom of screen should be green button to ok
new recording path
this should work
