on the underside of this Andriod player there is a Reset button its very hard to see but its there for sure
you must get a pin and while Andriod player is connected to power hold reset button with a pin for upto 30secs this will basically factory reset your Andriod player
once reset then your player automatically is back to normal
i had this happen to me with a very similar Andriod device
as in your link .
i hope this will help you out and get it back working again .
Good luck : )

Yes, Amlogic M3. I used this informations to recovery using SD card: "Copy aml_autoscript, uImage_recovery (renamed recovery.img), fw of you choice on FAT partition of prepared sdcard plug in box while holding reset button"

My receiver has reset button and I don't know if is the same pins on motherboard.

I used different u-boot.bin and recovery (sdcardmaker, HDDRawCopy1.02Portable) with some images too.

Used this informations too:

"amlogic boxes can boot recovery image from sd.

on most boxes you have to prepare sd with SDcardmaker and your box related (or near related) uboot.bin put on the by SDcardmaker created FAT32 patition: recovery.img (or rename uImage_recovery ) and update.zip, boot with reset pressed."

no sucess too..

Thanks
