Hi bit of a lurker around here and often use this forum for feeds:thum:

I often see keys posted in the shoutbox but I always struggle to get them to work

I have a decent-ish setup in the NW of the Uk 1.2m channel master, 24 inch actuator

Now i have several enigma 2 boxes but i struggle like a bitch with Biss keys etc

What is the simplest way to get this running on enigma 2?

Or would it be easier to simply buy a starsat 2020 or v8 golden for example

I currently own a Mutant hd51, edision os mini, xpeed lx2 all running openatv 6

I am pretty much up to speed and have a good setup but I want to start using the keys posted here

Then u must Learn to convert keys manually to upload to your box when keys change etc..

Enigma 2 boxes are really not ideal at all for feedhunting due to their weak tuners best and most simple is Technomate TM5402 M3 ITS VERY FAST AND SIMPLE TO INPUT BISS Keys
Enigma 2 boxes are usefull only really for C/Sharing and never intended for feedhunting .

i use TM5402 M3 FOR Blindscan and 4:2:0 Feeds
i use TBS 5980 USB Qbox for 4:2:2 format Feeds and recording

to get good solid Sat box is a good start its pretty tuff to use linux E2 Boxes for feedhunting and BISS Keys it makes little to no sense at all .

yes my e2 box does the job well but now i am starting to realise their limitations

I use oscam too, 1 thing about oscam is it will actually give you the key ID needed to go with key. but if the ID is already being used by another feed/channel it won't. So I keep my softcam biss keys file empty.
When you tune into a biss feed with oscam as your cam,using the oscam webif, it will actually show up in the status box which IDs it is trying, ie. it may say trying key
F 10BB8 00
F 10BB8 01
F 10BB9 00
F 10BB9 00

Then say no key found, there you will have an ID, any one will do, simply add the key with no spaces to any of the ID's and save them in the softcam file, all done through the webif.
ie.

F 10BB9 00 20xxxxxxxxxxxx74
F 10BB9 01 20xxxxxxxxxxxx74

Then restart oscam.

Webif address is your box ip.8888( mine is http://192.168.1.153:8888)

softcam file is found under Files, other file, sofcamkey.

Note: ALL done through oscam webif

Technomate 5402 M1 will work fine and works with my V-box so yours should not be any different .
M1 Software bit limited and BISS Slots limited on M1 But otherwise its perfect for Feeds and BISS Keys ..But no 4:2:2 for that you need TBS :thum:

TECHNOMATE TM 5502

Ha llegado a mis manos este receptor y hasta ahora todo bien, excepto que el MENÚ no viene en Español.
Alguien que tenga este aparato y me pueda decir qué firmware podría ponerle con el Menú en Español.
