I cannot connect to my ip box by hdmi as the picture just jumps and flickers. If i connect via scart or component in sd mode all is fine, if i change the settings to 720p or 1080i i get an unstable unwatchable picture.
I have a arion high def satellite receiver and a divco high def media player both work perfectly through hdmi allthougu i had to wait for firmware updates before they worked correctly.
My questions are,
1 is anyone else having a similar problem
2 are there any other settings anywhere that can be tweaked,
3 is this an issue that is known about and is it likely to be fixed in a future firmware update/image
any help would be greatly appreciated.
regards pippatron.

I had a similar problem, not quite the same with my first box. When there, the hdmi output was stable, but sometimes there would be no output, sound or vision, on it for up to a couple of hours after switch on. The scart output was always fine.

Returning the box to the dealer, they confirmed it was faulty and replaced it. Now very pleased with it.

Using nlb8421 (v1.110) but have tried various images with the same result.

I use HDMI without any problem since the first day and first image. I don't think it would be related with images, it could be a hardware problem with the HDMI output of the box or HDMI input of the tv.

Not to sure, played around all afternoon i think it is something to do with connecting dvi from ip box to hdmi on tv.
If i connect to a different tv dvi to dvi all ok. The tv i want to connect to is 3 year old 60" lg plasma with only hdmi, yet it works with my other equipment.

problem hdmi -> dvi

Have same flickering picture or none at all when conecting box to tv hdmi -> dvi.
Using hdmi -> hdmi works without problems.

So problem should be related to tv (dvi) connector.
