HD8000s Change epg now and next to 7 day

Does anybody know how to change Vantage hd8000s from now and next epg to 7 day epg.

go to main menu (press menu on remote ) (where there 's installation ,system,...,...)
then go to system settings (press ok )
in that menu go to osd settings
then choose epg modus
set to weekly or daily instead of what's there now
press ok and answer yes to save
exit exit exit
done :thum:

I did that but it is still only giving me now and next, i am on
1w thor 5-6 sat canal digital nordic.

I have tried everything with this receiver Vantage HD8000s but it will not update EPG automatically.

Unfortunatly Vantage have a very bad support i cant ring if i am not living in germany, and i cant email them either.

no problem with my vantage 8000s (firmware 2.55 (jepssen firm )

what firmware do you have ?

maybe try to flash the receiver again ..with same or newer firmware


you should even be able to change mode in epg screen itself with the color button..

I have tried many version of firmware i am on 2.65 the latest HD firmware from Vantage.

Are you on Canal digital Nordic Thor sat 5 and 6. or maybe astra 19E which i think this germen box is made for.

Do you have a link for the firmware 2.55 (jepssen firm)is this for NL canal digital?

i did a test and ... same here on thor only now and next it must be a differend epg system
sorry mate no luck it's down to the epg system they are using on the thor satelites

on astra 1 we use nagra epg i think on thor conax version ?..

but yes 2.55 jepssen is for canaal digt but down at the moment ,and you need to change bootloader and then software ..

To get the extended EPG for Canaldigital programs you have to tune into Discovery Travel & Living. The EPG for the next few days comes down slowly for all the CD channels.

Make daily timer ex 5.55-6.00 on disc world and You will have an updated EPG on CD nordic all the time.

And like kiliantv says : first load this soft to your Vantage - then load the soft you want (025501 or whatever )

returning to org soft

be sure to load soft(that you want to change to ) on the receivers harddisk before loading the rollback soft !!!!!!!!!!!!
