Hauppauge HVR4000 HDTV

Hello!

Could anybody suggest software for HVR4000 to watch HD channels both free and encoded. Tried some free sw (Progdvb etc...), but they usally ask money for "pro" like versions which are suitable for HDTV. I could pay money but only for working product. I know that my hardware is not very popular and does not working witw all software.

Thanks! I have tried linux also, but had many problems I couldn`t solve. Tried many tutorials, but always had bigger or smaller problem that stopped me...

I got the same card and tried quite a few programs. Right now I am testing DVBDREAM. With some additional HD Codecs and plugins it looks quite good, even on encoded channels. However the search continues.

Hello
I've also tried with the card HVR4000 and ProgDVB Pro6 (also Version 5.5).
TV stoped and begins one or two seconds later (3,6GHz ) .
I hope Saar from MyTheatre have soon a new version with the HDTV features.
You must wait a little time.
