Hello.
I have a problem running the package on the latest VTi. I had scripts before, but they don't work on the new Python. On the second tuner on openATV it works without installing anything. Didn't even need dvbsnoop. I have the same list from ciefp. On VTi, oscam does not poll despite dvbapi and correct keys.
Has anyone managed to run the package on the latest VTi?

Hello,
After several weeks of absence 27,5 W I had to notice: Sound on the HD chs has again disappeared on the Sf4008 E2 RX!
Only Bbc1hd works, strangely with (incorrect?)5102 Pid.
Not easy to get it all back, so far no success. My problem is I am obviously not able to handle the lamedb file. But still I had
sound before without dealing with that file.
Any help is much appreciated.

Anyway it is strange and remarkable that the old Octagon E2 sf4008 tends to sooner or later lose the programmed data
for those hd channels, whilst the not much younger non E2 Rx sx88+ presents all the 27,5W programmes
without any problems!
Presume though that the E2 successor SF8008 (which I dont have) is more stable and reliable on 27,5W!?

Old TM5402 works fine, any ways these will be gone for good in the near future I'm sure

It's been years since it was no longer possible to capture these channels from the 28,2E satellite in southern Europe. At that time, a lot of people turned to 27.5W and people were already talking about it, what is certain is that still on, enjoy it while you can.

Not for too long as I said

At 27.5 West, the BBC is still broadcasting for a pair of terrestrial transmitters.
Enigma2 displays program names after searching, but since the BBC also uses encoded PMT in addition to encoded video/audio, it remains "dark".

In Py2 it was possible to use BBC script which accessed all PIDs (video/audio/mheg/subtitles/hbbtv) from the encoded PMT immediately after searching and it was not necessary to edit lamedb. Alternatively, without a script, manually edit the lambedb by entering the necessary PIDs.
In Py3, however, this script no longer works correctly. That's why the community around e2 implemented in some images the so-called isScrambledPMT parameter f:400 (also works in Py2) which simplified edited by lamedb.

After searching, e2 saves in lambedb, e.g.
Code:
4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0:0
BBC Two HD
p:BBC
1. The first option is to add PMTpid and the PMT handler parameter,
Code:
4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0:0
BBC Two HD
p:BBC,c:1617d4,f:400
with this option, oscam.dvbapi is still needed, where the BISS for the given program is defined
Code:
A: ::4440:17d4::: 2600:000000:1FFF # BBC Two HD

2, The second option is if the option of BISS definition in oscam.dvbapi is not used, it is necessary to insert it in lambedb
Code:
4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0:0
BBC Two HD
p:BBC,c:1617d4,C:2600,f:400

in this way, all audio tracks will be accessed, since only one audio track can be defined during manual definition in lambedb (all subtitles are also available - the same applies as for audio - only one). HbbTV and MHEG were not processed.

3, The third possibility is to prohibit enigma from obtaining PIDs from PMT with the f:4 parameter, but from reading them directly from lamedb.
Code:
4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0:0
BBC Two HD
p:BBC,c:0017d5,c:0317d5,c:050001,c:0917d90101,c:100004,c:1117d6,c:1217d6,C:2600,f:4
It is no longer possible to select other PIDs except those defined in lambedb. It is also necessary to use oscam.dvbapi.

4, The fourth possibility is to use the mentioned BBC script (unfortunately, it works correctly only in Py2) where it is not necessary to edit lambedb. HbbTV is also processed here.

They write on the BBC website:
To enable the launch of the HD versions of our channels on satellite, we have had to switch off all the standard definition (SD) versions of BBC One. This has only impacted viewers who use an SD-only satellite set-top box (Freesat or Sky) to receive their TV. Freeview viewers will not have been impacted and do not need to upgrade any equipment.
So it should only apply to 28E. 27W is used for Freeview terrestrial distribution. In addition, the warning about the end of SD broadcasting appears on the screen only on 28E.

In Py3 the script does not work correctly (does not form the entire caPMT)- the lamedb modification must be used
