Hi,
just received this news today by my... :sneaky: that translated in english sounds this way:

"When you use SP1/SP2, do not use a HDMI splitter to connect box and tv, but you MUST connect box and tv "directly" without any additional device; otherwise server will detect it as rebroadcast and your serial on forever server will be permanenlty blocked "

I don't know if this new is old, real or fake - just received today.
Maybe anyone else knows more...

But I guess with a 8x8 HDMI hub I could have serious problem....

Good. Anyway it seems to be a news of yesterday.
I read it on facebook with no much credit to it, but today it has been notified to me directly by a FS supplier.
It should include both FS and vip code use

Its on the TG site

Important news:

Dear customers,

when you use SP1/SP2 service, Do not use HDMI splitter to connect the deco and TV, and you should connect the deco to TV directly without any additional device, otherwise, the server will detect it as relay device and block your deco automatically.

So please be aware of this issue.

I wonder though were you using a hdmi spiltter then sending one signal to multiple tv's as the same time. I've just realised that mine is not a splitter but a hdmi switch so i only have tv being feed at any time. I used it to switch sat boxes and nvidia shield so i only use up one hdmi port on my tv.

I have permanently blocked my two new receivers from their server forever which is a big loss you have to be very careful I can't upload pictures here I can't find the option so I He would also give a screenshot.

Yes, my case is similar to yours.
I have all my monitior/tv in my room connected to a professional hub. I don't need to split the signal to more monitors. But it may happens as error that same input could go to different monitor

Maybe hub and simple splitter are perceived differently by FS.
We'll see...

Basically there are some thing to be clarified, before understand what kind of check is done.
it seems clear to me there could be both a hardware and a software issue.

As hardware, it's to be understood if there is a any difference at check level between a HDMI splitter and hub and possibly it's only realated to the splitting issue.

Then as software, we need to try to figure out how such check could work and how it's been implemented.

Sincerly I'd guess older firmare could not be affected by the problem and surely it could be relative to the last boxes and above all to the last firmwares (the ones that support Forever 146)

Then not all the boxes could be affected.
We spoke about qviart before.
Forever is not active by factory, but implemented by upgrade (so different than the so called goosat boxes)

This as first things to be verified.
Let's see :sneaky:

Thank you samir for your accurate report (y)
So it seems the voice about hdmi splitters has been reported in a rather simplistic way by same dealers
and really issue is more complex.
Indeed this doesn't concern splitting of video, but broadcast the video by an electronic device other than a standard television.
So a wrong use of any device that manage the video could take to the ban

Other important news you gave us: counter-measure seems to be active since a bit of time.
So it's possible still older goosat firmare version (with forever 1.44/1.45) could be affected.

So, this is not anymore a simple issue of hub or splitter, but that every device other than a tv could take to a forever server block.
Anyway I'm using a hub since ages and no one of my devices have never had problem.
So check could be relative to an intense consumption in the HDMI connection.
It seems strange, but it's real

The team itself confirms that they can identify devices connected to more than two screens.
I explained what they are saying, and I believe they conducted experiments at their factory in China.

I think we will need some time to confirm, as the process of detecting devices might mybe not be 100% successful.

@Ratzvan
If you only use Aubiss with feeds, using the 2022 update will be safer.but you losed important package neeed last upgrade server

Their focus is on VIP, Bein Mena, DSTV, and packages that work exclusively on their server. This means that the ban will be on these exclusive packages on their server.

As for feeds and free channels, I don't think they will be banned.

From the wording all banned devices have had a reprieve and have been unbanned.

You will have a pay for a sub to get the box working again regardless of what time you had left on the sub when the box was banned.

Thats how i read it anyway.

This is a good news, because FS is most important part of such boxes.
Without it they became enough unuseful.

I was not sure,( thanks for clarifying (y) ) because I come from smartcard world,
where banned cards had to be absolutely substituted because they couldn't work anymore.

My particular reference to many past years with beinsport in viaccess and s*y italy,
and its note error 999x - banned for too much extra traffic ;)

At last a consideration about this counter-measure.
European providers that cry all day for piracy damage by IPTV never could do anything similar
Goosat technichans did better than western ones.
It seems here we're going a bit senile.
We needed to wait for an asian company that provide an illicit service to do a counter-measure again others who reshare its illegal service :ROFLMAO:
But as we say in my language, never steal from thieves' houses
(I don't now if this expression have the same sense in english too :) )
