I have just bought a DM500HD and flashed it with the Dream Elite image using a USB lead.
Everything worked ok and I was able to connect with DCC and Dreambox Edit on the network.
went to download plugins etc and found that the download server no longer works so decided to change the image.
Tried to upload the new image via the web browser but the box would not give me the IP when I held the front button when switching on.
Decided that I would try the USB method again but when I tried to flash the new image it came up with the message
"Got wrong response from box. HTTP/1.0 400 bad request. Content- Type:text/plain. Server:yahd v1.0"
Then ***Serial Mode*** entering serial loop.
Never had this with my DM800.
