Extra Tuners on DM8000

Hi guys..

Just 2 quick questions please..

There are 2 spare slots in the DM8000 for 2 more tuners..

Is there any reason why they cant be 2 more satellite tuners.. ??

also, Are they the same tuners as the DM800 or are there specific tuners for the DM8000 .. ??

I have used a hd tuner plug and play and a sd tuner plug and play from the dm800 and the dm7025plus just as an experiment and they worked ok sadly what did not work was a hd tuner from a dm800 into a dm7025 even though the dm7025 is sd only ,the dm800 hd,sd plug and play did not work.

You can add 2 more satellite tuners. Haven't test it myself. I have 2 satellite and 2 cable tuners in my box. Works perfectly.

I add two more dvb-s2-tuners in my dm8000 an it works perfectly.

You can add any combination of extra tuner to the DM8000
satellite, cable or Terrestrial
The machine will recognise them and they will work
