External HDD e-SATA

i notice the VU+ duo has an e-sata port. has anybody had any luck using a large e-sata disk with this unit?

can anybody recommend a make/model?

i was considering using one for music/films - is this better than streaming media over a cat 6 network from a PC? i would have thought it would be much more reliable and quicker...

any comments greatly appreciated.

yes it can be used for hard disk. It is even better than connecting through usb or by cat6 from pc. All usual models should be ok because sata connection is less problematic than usb
