EXT.DVD R/RW

hi all

i am trying to get external dvd r/rw to my vu+duo.
the drive is CIG USB.
it has usb cable and also usb for 5v supply.
i have connected to my vu+duo on the back.(both cable)
the device does not show up in device manager.

i have tried on blackhole and vix2.0 images.

any advice appreciated.

PS.COULD ANY 1 USING EXTERNAL USB DVD DEVICE PUT THE MAKE AND IMAGE THE USING WITH.

hi, I have a samsung slimline external usb dvd rewriter working with latest vti image on my vu+ duo, I am only using it for playing dvds so far so don,t know how well it writes.
