Hi, I already flash my DM800, 100% complete, but when restart it's error.

This is because you flashed your clone with a image that it can not use because of driver/bootloader incompatibility.

Flash you 800 with a image that matches your boot loader form this thread. Start with a bl69 image

No way to restore flash before. If you want find yourflash.nfi then flash it.
If you use current flash you have to flash bootloader that suitable your DM800( file as Bootloader75.nfi or lower image). the Way you flash like you update image before.

You have the latest sim version and i now suspect you flashed it with a older patched version. In this case just flashing the BL will not work.

Just reflash with this image

It is patched and configured for your version of the 800. You may need to use DreamUP and a Null modem cable to flash the image if you have lost Ethernet connection. Try browser flashing first though as flashing with dreamup will take over a hour.

Those are the only 2 methods mate!

Im very surprised you can not flash via null cable! Are you sure it is a null cable and not a serial cable?

What is the problem you are having flashing via the web interface?

the actual error:

so no web access, the serial connection is a 9.6K serial connection do I need a null modem setup and turn on IP over it and upload the firmware that way...? ( I'm using a mac just in case there is a PC client you may thinking).

device mac starts with 00 09 34...

This error is cause by a image that is not patched. Because your 800 can now not boot to the point where the ethernet driver is loaded the only way to re-flash you 800 is by null modem cable & DreamUP.

No you do not have to turn on the serial port.

Try an different PC and use or proper serial port not those USB-serial adaptors they can cause problems.

If that fails try these tools for forcing a clone to flash.

HI,i'm new here ,need the expert to help me to solve some problem on dm800hd pvr receiver , recently i update the new firmware ,after reboot the screen is black,the oled display shown " look at www.dm7020.com * ERRO1: NO CA Found. ",i had search for help in some forum ,they told me to use dreamup patch ,after doing that now it show another error "/flash/vmlunux.9z",i'm using the null cable to flash every time the flash are successfully flash but end up this two same error , may i know is it i flash the wrong file or got any other solution?Hope someone can help me,thanks alot.

First thing we need to know is the type of sim you have or at least the bootloader it originally ran.

If you read through this thread youll see you patch a image which does not match the bootloader of the sim.

Give us more information and we can help you.

Hi I managed to bring back in life my dm800hd,if you can't open serial conection is you have to open serial and network webinterface with working dm500s not with dm800hd and after to put serial cable to not working dm800hd and to try many times with flash erase and upload ss#70 only with webinterface .Good luck.
