so this is basically sifteam E2 image but with cam menu? Does it have mgcamd 1.31 in the menu to download?

I thought the reason the sifteam image didnt have cam menu/blue button was because the image would be too large if so how does this image do it?

Does this have uk cable database in it, the sifteam image doesnt and will crash when scanning for transponders (uk cable), you have to search by frequency on the sifteam image.

I take it that i just rename the image to usb_update.img and flash from usb pen?

EDIT: This archive contains files not a .img file, how do we install it? will there be a .img version of this made so we can flash via usb pen?

I've install this version on my usb-stick,and it recognices my powercam module, but after a restart there is nothing in the slot.So it's good at the beginning and afterwards I have a problem to get it working.Maybe a hard rest will do it(temporarly),but this is not a solution,

What I would really like is some more skins, maybe someone can tell me where I can find these skins.I have a component cable, so no higher resolution yet.

After trying some E2 versions on usb-stick, this one is a good beginning.
Thank you guys.

This has to be installed in USB stick or HDD. It is not a flash version.
Mgcamd is not available for E2 yet. You can download other emus from the panel.
I'm not in UK but cable scanning is OK it will not crash. Put the settings of the first transporter in the manual scan and it will find the rest. Alternatively you can edit the cables.xml file with the UK settings and use that one for scanning.

There was a set of 3 very nice HD skins with 0.2 version - missing in this build - where are they? Someone got them like addon or something?

I dont understand, how do you "INSTALL" it on a usb stick? Can i just over-write all the files that are on the hdd from the nlb image with the files from here via ftp?

Could someone explain what i need to do. Also you guys not making a flash version of this yet?

Hajj 3,
Keep it simple.
First install multiboot(download from dgstation.co.kr).Put this in the media-folder trough ftp.Go to your NLB panel and choose the upgrade option.
Also for further upgrades because, your using E2 on usb.

Your HDD you can use to record,and the usb-stick(any >500 mb)for Enigma2.
Hope this will work for you too. These commands only in telnet(mind the space before /).Capito.

1. Boot your DGS image, wait to full boot.
2. Insert your USB stick
3. Telnet to your box, execute mount
4. In the list check - if the /dev/sdb1 is mounted (if is FAT probably is mounted to /mnt/usb/usb0)
5. umount it - umount /mnt/usb/usb0
6. now execute fdisk /dev/sdb (not sdb1)
7. on the prompt press p - to see current partition table
8. press d - to delete partitions, if it is only one proceed, if not - press d again and delete all partitons
9. press p again - there will be no partitons now
10. Press n - to create new partition
11. select p - primary
12. select 1
13. press enter, enter (or the last sectornumber-size)
14. press w to write changes & exit
15. You have just created linux partition on your usb stick
16. Now format this partition - mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdb1
17. mount formatted partition again - mount -t ext3 /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb/usb0
18. Now ftp e2 tar.gz to /mnt/usb/usb0
19. execute cd /mnt/usb/usb0
20. execute tar -zxvf e2image.tar.gz, wait few minutes to decompress all. (wait for prompt)
21. after decompress type, sync

to unmount just

23 cd /
24 umount /dev/sdb1
25 exit

Do a hard reset,and wait 30 sec.Press 2 (or 3)before booting.
Now, you just have to adjust the satellite.xml file (ext/tuxbox).First setup your network, than a scan.
Hopefully this might work for you.Succes

give more infos about your setup..
hdd ? esata, usb,..sticker ?
I did everything as described above by "badeyeah" - Only difference was in my setup I got /dev/sda1 instead of /dev/sdb1. Everything installed like a treat. I also updated to multiboot before starting - and I used PUTTY for telnet. Flashxp for FTP. Only problem is when I press 2,3,4 or 5 (tried all the numbers one after another in recursive tests) - all I get is my display saying BOOTING - but nothing happens and power button stops flashing after a while - this means that the Box has hung. Help Help. I am using Sifteam 9047 900HD image and trying out the E2 - 34 tar.gz via USB. Usb Stk = 1GB.

not sure what you mean by sticker.

I'm using a 320gb samsung sata2 hdd in a icybox e-sata caddy connected to ip900c box via e-sata connection.

I have a 256mb and a 8gb usb pen too. Was hoping a flashable .img of this would be out but i guess not:(

Tried again with same result - left it booting for 1-hour and about half an hour using other button with Sata disconnected (1-hr with Nr 2 (E-Sata connected & half hour Button Nr 5 Esata disconnected). What to do next. Don't want to re-flash main Sifteam image.
