edision argus classic crashed

Hi to everybody,
my Edision Argus Classic went in crash and with the cable rs232 (null modem) which im sure is working well, I cannot load the sw.
It says to check the comport or cable. I tried many times but still useless. Is it maybe the comport blocked?? How can I unblock it?. Do I have to buy an USB to RS232 cable adaptor?? Will it work fine then? Please help me if u can.:mecry::mecry::mecry:

unfortunately I do not use the USB-serial adapter but a null modem cable ..

how can I unblock my Argus Classic?

HI, Kargo,
tkz for answering me...
I bought an USB CONVERTER to RS232 cable..but it is still not working. Sobh!! :confused::mecry: and serial of this receiver seems not to work too...i tried many times and im not able to upload boot and software on it.
Is there a way to reset this receiver? Many tkz anyway

argus classic crash

It doesn't show anything. Display is complitely black and before it crashed it showed 'burning' on screen then everything went black. :mecry::mecry::mecry::mecry:

Then the bootloader was destroyed during the burn process.
Only EDISION can repair it, sorry :mecry::mecry::mecry:






Last try for you can be to use RS232 and 7100s-flasher

chose option "flash bin"

password: 1234567

but i think it does not work:mecry:

Dear Joker,
many tkz for your advices. As I said program 7100s flasher did not work. So i gave up.
As I am a curious person I opened my receiver and I noticed a free 10 pins'platform near the serial comport RS 232 to be used with a flat cabel. I realized this after research on internet that this can be used with a JTAG schedule and an appropriate program to flash the inside memory. Things seemed to become complicate...
I wrote this for people who can find this usefull..
