I'm trying to put this image on my db 500hd (original)
I can put the 2.2 image with svn 78 on no problem but when I do online update it sticks on the boot screen.

I've tried doing the updates using the images off this forum without luck, requsted urls after image 2.2 svn 78 no longer exist.

when I try to flash with image 2.3 dreamup says older image, box now unusable, I then reflash with 2.2 svn 078 & am back to square one, any help greatly appreiciated.

Hi mate

You can not do a online update from 2.2 svn78 to current version

You need to flash a later bootloader ssl84 and then a later version of image then update


Read the readme files with these images it explains it all

Flashing Failed (!!! 010 INVALID IMAGE (OR OLDER VERSION).box will be unusable now!!!

Image was 2.2 svn 078 prior to flashing, box reflashes no problem, have also downloaded secondstage bootloader in nfi format but still the same, Thankyou.

You need to do this from readme

If you have a SVN version < 092, or SSL < 84
please flash a fresh image via Web Interface, follow this:
-Flash SecondStage Loader 84-r0 (nfi version)
-Reboot
-Flash Image SVN 093
-Reboot

If the above does not work try flashing the 2.2 078 you have that works then flash the ssl84 and reboot.

Then flash latest Nemisis.

Still wouldn't load using secondstage boot loader (84)still had same problems.

Finally got image 2.3 loaded using the lastest version of dreamup. V1.3.3.8
