EDG Nemesis 2.1 on DM8000 Clone

Image is working fine in the flash just when you flash it flash after the boot loader 78f from ferrari .

You must be carefull not to autoupdate after the system is booted because the loader goes to version 81 and even if you again write the ferrari boot loader and the system is almost finish the boot and is on enigma you get a message of hardware failure (no worries you just reflash the box). So no autoupdate for us in EDG 2.1 till ferrari update their bootloader from version 78f to 81.

EDG 2.1 is very good i have it for 1 day now and didnt experienced any kind of trouble or something else.

yes looked good i thought myself until i followed the update! cant get box to flash now, have the ip bit wont open up on web, and tried fornhikes second stage without success either on serial or network! these dm8000 clones are tricky when it comes to that, any help would be appreciated..

That huppened to me also but i used the patched dreamup and i flashed it and then i puted the EDG again and after the ferrari bootloader.

I suppose you knew how to put the bootloader.. when you finish installing the image you dont reboot and you delete /flash in the address in internet explorer or in firefox and with this you have back the flash web screen and you again reflash with the ferrari loader.

Are you using both null and ethernet?

If so explain what procedure exactly your using and maybe we can see where the problem is.

I use a crossover cable in my laptop and i connect it with the box. I also connect the serial cable to the receiver and i start the program and then i light up the box. After the bootloader is uploaded to the box i plug the box to the home lan and i start it with the down channel button pressed and this gives me the dhcp and i access it from IE or FF.
The next steps are known for flashing.. 1st the EDG 2.1 then without reboot i put again the ip of the box in the IE or FF and i reflash the 211kb file of ferrari and thats it.

ihave used the patched version by forhike and have both network cable and serial connected, i have used this method in the past and its work via http mode, if i use the dream repair method which has worked in the past i can get no connection with the box either in serial or network. it moves the greyed buttons to black but you cant load a file to flash. at this stage i have tried all methods thats listed and cant get anywere! help appreciated...

This is strange m8.. and i cannot reproduce the problem. Pls check somehow the serial cable that is working fine (in another box or anything) and also be sure that the pc you use the dreamup has only the 1 lan that you connect the crossover cable enabled, i say this because for examble in my laptop where i connect with the crossover cable if i have the wifi of it on and the laptop is connected to my home lan then the dreamup shows up the correct ip of lan card of the laptop and the correct ip of the DM BUT!!! i cannot connect with the DM. I need to disable the wifi and rerun the dreamup and all is working fine.

I need to say 1 thing about the EDG nemesis image and this is to be carefull when you go to packet management to download something from there and not from the plugin page then the EDG auto finds the updates that are needed like if you do Software update. So there you must be cautius when you add something for install and then you click Process after this you must click ONLY EXTENSIONS... with this you only install what you really want and you prevent the EDG to do software update... If the software update huppents then you end up with no ca because of the 81 boot loader

I dont have dvb-t card in the DM8000 and im trying to install my AF9015 DVB-T stick with no luck so far... anyone has a clue how to install? because when i go to the EDG panel of the DVB-T it doesnt connect to delite server at all.

Nemesis server is down, not the adoons one, but the one for Software update, and maybe also for the Drivers.

I reply to myself lol.. i manage to install fine in EDG 2.1 in my DM800 the DVB-T but in no way i can make it work in the DM8000... damn this EDG maked many probs i think finaly.
