Hello EnoSat, I've verified your latest Info of 12207H for both PIDs with Wireshark and was able streaming the programs on PID 1012 on my SF4008 with SatDreamGr. But on PID 1013 I only got a "no data" Error on my receiver. Any idea how to solve the problem?

Has anybody had any success with decoding the audio from the MPX feeds on 5°W? (11455H 2550 and 11461 H 5780).

Each of these (MPX-FUN, MPX-RFM etc) is a DVB-MPE stream with a single IP/port. The payload presumably contains an audio stream in MPX format for FM transmission - this would be a mono track with a high sample rate (maybe 152kHz or 192kHz) that contains mono audio, stereo difference, RDS at 57kHz and stereo pilot at 19kHz. In WAV/PCM, with 16bit encoding such a stream requires 2432kbps at 152kHz or 1216kbps with 8bit. As the streams on 5°W are running at around 700kbps max, some kind of compression is presumably being used.

I'm wondering if anyone is able to work out the format of the audio data inside the streams? So we might be able to decode it. MPX data is audible when decoded even with the extra data included.

From looking in Wireshark, it seems the payload data with the mystery MPX audio always starts with the byte 0x03, usually followed by 0x02, 0x22, or 0x32.

I'm a bit late to the party. I've read through the thread several times but it's not clear to me what is currently working.

Could somebody point me at a satellite/transponder which is still actve and a corresponding lamedb/bouquet entry, please.

I'm sure once I've got one working I'll be able to hack the rest!

Thanks.

Some more details have appeared about these - https://www.lalettre.pro/La-solutio...tout-pour-les-radios-du-Groupe-M6_a33786.html

It is MPX audio, in some kind of codec made by this company called RAMI. Their products refer to 192kHz AES MPX, including some of the models mentioned in the graphics on that page, so the "MPX Codec" must involve some way of compressing this down to 700kbps.

If mpx still available, why no one answered where to get signal from?

PD:
Ups! I re-read and I found the info is posted "MPX feeds on 5°W? (11455H 2550 and 11461 H 5780)." in post #36 Sorry. I can not delete my post, so I am editing instead.
