Dreambox 800 HD PVR Clone problem

Hi all.

I have a Dreambox 800 HD PVR Clone with an old 2010 Gemini image and wanted to upgrade to another more recent.

The strange thing is i checked my box and:

- I open the box to check sim and i have a SIM 2.10 S11520 but when i did a backup with nfiback says SIM 2.01.

- checking Boot loader version using telnet says #75 but turning the box on up upgrade firm using browser says #69.

I tried to upgrade using browser but says i don't have a valid Linux image so i cant use that to upload new image and boot loader.

Do you guys think its safe to upgrade BL to 84b and then send a recent image (im thinking TSIMAGE)?

Seems i have to use DreamUp or OptiFlasher to upgrade. Whit these i have to upload BL the IMAGE or i can just upload a new image with new BL included.

Yes mate if the sim says 2.10 you could even run the 84d images.

Upgrade the bootloader first then flash a 84 image youll be fine.
