Dream Box Not working

Hello,
I have Dtream Box 500S.
It was working and suddenly stop working , and now only green light in front.
Try to revive with dream Up and Null cable but dream Up hangs .

attach Box to TV with AV cable but nothing on TV screen as TV doesn't notice the connection !!

Any solution please!!

Is the green light on constantly?

Try flashing a image to it over LAN with Flashwizard.

If green light is not on constantly see this thread.

No green light stays constantly, but can not use LAN with Flash wizard It say "can not connect Box check connection " I check in DCC

green line show between comp and router but red line to box, tried search IP in search, not working . Remote doesn't work with remote , AV connection to TV and Box ,... no result just black screen on TV as if no connection to Box !!
tried with older version of Dream Up, same, drem Up hangs
any other suggestions ?

Ok mate leave the DM unplugged over night, then try DreamUp again, if not take the DM to your router and hook up to a short lead and try search for the IP again.

Hi,
I did but dream up hangs so afrter much discussion came to conclusion that I need jtag the box , I did and J taging worked till the last and maeesage on screen came download complete , now ready to install image using null cable ,
I tried and it is same thing , dreamup hangs .
How do I do the attachment to this ?

any suggestion
I need help badly

You could have a faulty com port mate.

Are you sure you are using a null cable and not a serial cable?

Thanks ,
I have use the same com port on PC ( I have only com 1 ) and used 2-3-2 Null Modem ( crossed ) cable and fix another two Dreambox and they are working fine .

Now after J tag it is constant green light , no effect of remote , nothing on TV screen when connected with AV cable , front stand by button also does not work nor you can shut off with Remote !!

Tried different version of Dream up but dream up hangs, green light is constant in front of box,How to know that J tag was successful ?
any other suggestion to rectify this box ?
