Its work fine but you need to have Videolan (vlc) installed in to your computer with all plugins (mozilla plugin and activeX) and ofcorse an good codecs package.

Never worked for me - and I've got all the video codec packs installed + VLC which has claimed all the Video / audio file associations on my PC; 3ivx, xvid, divx + All-In-One codec pack. Makes no difference - it always says " Loading, Please wait". Plugins are always selected & active in IE7 & Firefox. No difference which browser - even - no difference with PC or Laptop- Always Loading never Loaded??!!

Maybe you need hard wire network cable - I use BT Powerline Adapter instead of network cable - maybe that is my problem. But I still get full internet access and full access to the REMOTE on the IPBOX IP address.

I have the latest NLB nlb8728 installed on IP9000 together with Webtv version 0.2.3 and when l enter http://box ip address/webtv/ all l get is the VLC(0.9.8a) loading in Internet Explorer and a black screen. At the top a box which indicates "Box Commands"

I have assumed that the web page is loading from the IP box but not displaying the video?

Anyone else experiencing this. Any inputs would be welcome
Thanks

Many thanks K2K2000 I have looked at this remotley and found that l had missed the Chmod all files to 755 instruction. Changing this has brought up the Tuner and the channel list but need to start the plugin script when l get home. It looks promising

It's work fine with Dreambox for me 100% I don't know for IP-Box but you try. Regards

Transcoding Dreambox Video Streams through a VLC server
This document provides the necessary steps to stream video from your Dreambox
satellite receiver to your PC in order to transcode it and view it on another PC
connected through the internet.
Prerequisites:
You will need:
a) A Dreambox.
b) A PC.
c) VLC installed on your system.
d) Know how to get the Enigma2 web interface running in your browser.
e) To know how to setup your router to handle port forwarding (if you have a router).
f) Make sure that your firewall does not block the VLC server port that you will
select. For example we used port 24567 in step8 of this guide.
g) To have a static ip address or have a dynamic dns account setup. DynDNS.org is a
good place to get a free dns account.
I hope the pictures don’t need explanation. I will modify this guide and make it more
“wordy” when I get some free time ;)
Any feedback through the “Satellite Haven” forum will be appreciated

Step 1
Left click the monitor icon next to the channel you would like to transcode. Click on
“Save link as”.
Step 2
Save your file on the desktop or anywhere where you can easily find it. In this case
we saved it as “stream.m3u”.
Step 3
Open the “stream.m3u” file in wordpad, notepad or any other text reader.
In the file, you will find an “http” line. Copy that line so that you can paste it in VLC
later on. This line opens the stream so that you can watch the Dreambox video on
your PC through the LAN (no need to transcode).
To make sure that you can stream video through Dreambox to your pc, open the
“stream.m3u” file through windows media player or VLC. It is essential that this step
is working
Step 5
Now it is time to setup our transcoding server. In VLC select “Open Network
Stream”.
Step 6
In the circled area, paste the line that you have copied in step 4.
You can replace “MyDynDnsAddress.org with your static ip address if you have one.
I.e. http://77.66.55.44.33:8001/......
Step 7
Click on “Stream/Save” and the on “Settings
Step 8
Make sure that you modify the circled areas as shown in step 8.
You have to specify an address which is your PC’s local ip address (not the router’s
static ip or DNS). Do not forget to set port forwarding on your router so that traffic
can reach your PC at the selected port (ie 24567).
If you do not have a router then your local ip address should be replaced by your
static ip or dyndns address.
ASF and WAV are my preferred encapsulated methods as they seem to work reliably.
Set the bitrate, the channels and scale to something low like in the picture above. The
video quality is going to be bad, but at least you can verify if your transcoding is
working.
The above listed settings should work fine if your upload speed is about 500Kbits/s.
In theory they should work fine if your upload speed can guarantee 288Kbits/s.
If you can transcode with the provided settings then increase the bit-rate and other
settings until the video starts breaking up. Finally reduce the bitrate until the video is
played without break ups. You have now reached the optimal quality/stability point
Step 9
On accepting the modified settings, you should see a local view of the transcoded
video
Step 10
Finally to watch the video stream and to verify that it works, copy-paste the
“mms://MyDynDnsAddress.org:24567/” line in your browser.
This should open a “Launch Application” dialog box/window. Select windows media
player (or any other player that will work for you) and click ok.
This should open your media player and start buffering the video stream.
You should start seeing the transcoded video in less than 30 seconds. It usually takes
less than 10 seconds.
Enjoy!

Checked all the files outlined by K2K2000 and all set to Chmod 755 and started Plugin Script. When connecting to http://boxip/webtv/ get a black screen with Box commands, Favorite list and Channels. When selecting channel it changes the channel on the box but no TV. I noticed when starting the plugin script that there are two "scrplg-streamts-ng-start.sh" and in the VAR folder l have a www (this looks like a shortcut), www_nlb and www_dsg
The webif is set to NLB. Close but not quite there to get webtv working

from nlb panel you can choose between nlb webif and dgs webif.
/var/www is a shortcut to www_nlb or www_dsg
depend of the webif you choose to use.

if you want to use nlb interface ,copy WEBTV to /var/www_nlb.
www_dsg for dgs

webtv dosent work on some old vlc plugin version.

vlc 0.9.8a = ok
firefox ok.

webtv is using port 4000.
make sure this port is not blocked by your firewall,router..

scrplg-start-streamts.sh old script for dgs webif, need hdd and timeshift enabled ;BUGGY

you can also try to to open stream using vlc, without browser.
see screenshot
media > open network > your box ip :4000
