does anyone have a Primesat heavy duty polar mount for the Raven (Andrews / Channel Master) 1.2m dish?

@waksat is a business, and a good one at that.
But I doubt he will be giving equipment away though I might be wrong.

Those mounts on SSS are complete overkill, i have the original CM mount on my 1.2 and it must be 25 years old with very little to no play in it at all.
The phosphor bronze bushes just need some engine oil pressing through then every 2/3 years - normally when i service the ram i do that at the same time.

this is mine just after i rebuilt it all ( a few years ago now)

hopefully waksat sorts you out, but they are often on ebay, it would be a load cheaper than those things on SSS even if you have to travel a long way for it.

If you go on the Primesat website it mentions MK4 but the pictures are from 2012 that probably is a copyright date only..I have this polar mount for the 1.8 I think any changes if any, were minimal and the design is still the same. Have you rang SSS to see what the differences are?

so you have what version the same mount but for your 1.8m can you post pics of the mount with dish on (close up pics) please

ok i checked it out, cant find it on there! or did you mean this one? or this one? (£250) if this then i have already seen this one and thats the 1.8m CM Polar mount, i have also asked for pics of dish mounted to it (to see what it looks like)

btw i have a 76mm, 2m tall pole in the ground that has my dish currently mounted to (just in case anyone's wondering)

already tried it and it didnt work, i dont everything right and still didnt work, so i want a polar mount as its ment to be better!
