Can anyone help on how to setup the "tuner configuration" with the 800hd original on Enigma2 image with a Diseqc motor (stab) as it doesn't store the satelitte positions.
Thanks

A stabb mount is goto x usuals compatible, set it up like t6his.

Menu-setup-service searching-tuner config

Highlight tuner A and press ok

Top option Config Mode use the <> on the remote and select simple then Mode shode be set at positioner add your usuals coordinates and save.

Hi Feret,

thanks for the reply.
In dm800 original when you set the tuner configuration to "simple" it will not give you the option of motorised system (i.e all available satellites) therefore I set it to "advanced" and enter the "longitude & latitude" coordinates and set "Usals" to "no" and allocate numbers to each satellite. However the problem occur when you go "positionner setup" at bottom of menu and try to find/move each satellite to the allocated number as per "tuner cofiguration" it sometimes moves the dish and other times it doesn't move the dish. When it does move the dish I store the position number as per tuner configuration and when I call again the stored satellite position it wont move.

Sorry for being long but I hope you understand my problem?

I have original 800

Scroll to mode and use the <> buttons on your remote to change the mode to positioner. This is under simple configuration.

They way you described is setting up under diseqc 1.2 and this is not needed with a stabb motor.

No mate you can use diseqc manual storing on the stabb the above guide even though using a vbox gives the basic principles to set up you 800 under advanced mode.

But yes simple and positioner is the way to go.
