DM8000 Clone

Hi

I was wondering how good are dreambox 8000 clones.

I know since its a clone it won't it be the same standard as the original but can they still run CCCam and run plugins same as the original. I've got a DM800 clone and to be honest its superb never had a problem.

And if anyone has one whats your experience been like?

EDIT: Can one of the mods move it to the HD section just realised i put it in the SD section. Sorry.

It is better by far then the dm800 clone so you can imagine. Just be sure to have guarantee from where you buy and research well the seller. It is a lot of money (400euro and more) to buy from someone that will not fix or replace the box if there is a problem.
If you get a good box you will have a great experience but because there is absolutely no quality control (except if the seller does it himself) you could have a problem on arrival.
Problems that have come up are: bad capacitor on power supply (can not power enough the usb ports ; can be solved by buying an original psu for 60 euros or using a powered usb hub for 10 euros) , bad soldering on tuner screen (causes artifacts from interference ; you solder it back if you can) , lcd display instead of oled (cosmetical problem ; there is a shortage of oled displays at the moment), bad sim contact (causes errors on boot ; you lift the contacts).

Thanks giol after reading your comment and the clone review thread i am going for it doesn't seem bad for less than half the price.
