These drivers are working and tested successfully and depend on sim201 bootloader 76 only

installation to flash image with bl75 should be after upgrading to bl76

Hi all, Hi mfara57,

I'm not able to install dm800-sim201-dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.18-7.3-dm800-20100605 on a Sim 2.01 DreamElite 1.3 image for wich I have upgrated the BL from 75 to 76.

.... The boot sequence of the DM800 freezes ...

Have I to install the patched drivers on BL75 then upgrade BL to 76 ? ... Is DreamELite 1.3 compatible with these patched drivers ?

i have not tested those drivers on dreamelite 1.3 but testing with gemini5 and last oozoon is ok
however i do not advice to install drivers alone unless it is necessory,instead installation new image with latest drivers is preferable
correct installation is by upgrading bootloader from 75 to 76 first then install drivers
i will check with dreamelite 1.3 and see what is wrong

Just tried these on Dream Elite 1.3. They install fine, but as skabill2000 says the box hangs on reboot and needs to be re-flashed.

Yes you are right
i tested the one for boot72 with dreamelite 1.3 and hanged at boot but with gemini and oozoon and dreamelite 1.33 are ok
sometimes the the drivers are incompatible with some components of the specific version of image
In general we do not advice to update drivers alone unless it is necessory and far better to reflash complete image with needed drivers built in
ask the moderater to put note in that drivers for sim2.01 and boot 69,70,72 that are not working with dreamelite 1.3

Just done some more testing with these drivers. They work on Dream Elite 1.3.3. So it looks like its just Dream Elite 1.3 and earlier that isn't compatible.
