DM800 not booting, please help!!!

Hi guys,

I have a DM800 and after trying a firmware change, no it's not booting
anymore.
I get the following error:
No CA found by 2nd stage loader

I really don't know what sim is inside this DM800, so probably i've used the wrong firmware.
How can i find out what sim is inside the box?
at the backside of the box there is also no sticker indicating the sim version.

How can i recover this DM800??

What you have to do is reflash a correct image for your sim but you do it a slightly different way.

You need to connect both a null modem cable and a ethernet cable from your router.

Power off the 800 at the plug and start DreamUP, tick the network box and in the remote box section enter a ip from your networks range.

Click connect and at the prompt power up the 800 and watch the front display it should show you a IP address, enter this into your broswer and flash as normal.

but the problem is that i don't know what is the correct firmware
for my dm800. I don't know what sim is inside.
I opened also the box and cannot see anything mentioning the sim.

Take the lid off and describe the sim to us.Its in the right hand corner of the mobo

Also if you try boot the box does it say anything on the front screen like sim2 or Ferrari ?

i see a white sim card, behind the display.
cant see what it says.

it might be the DM800 clone

sure it's a clone.
I went to the store i've bought it, and they tell me its sim3.
But i cant find any firmware for sim3.

Sim 3 is a estar clone there are a few images out and software to convert images for estar, use the search function there is a little info if you want to read it.
