DM800 Network card speed

Hello!
I´m having some issues regarding the LAN speed at my home.
I dont know where the problem is yet.
I have a DM800 that is connected to a wireless DWL-G700AP in reapeter mode.
Both the AP and my ruter (D-link 655) is in "G" mode and speed "Auto" on channel 13.

Now when i upload a file to the dreambox with filezilla, I only get 1.5MB/s at most!

Q: Anyone here mesaured there speed uploading with FTP and give me some numbers, just to compare?

Dosent matter if it´s cable or wireless I´m just interesed in seein what speed DM800 can handle.

I have mine connected through a Devolo HomePlug AV adapter (200mb) and a 5 port hub and I get 3.50MBs sustained in both directions.

Tried mine with cable and got 5.1MB/s up and 7.5MB/s down.
Why the hell is the wireless so much slower?

Because wifi has very limited bandwidth unless you're using something like 802.11n
