dm800 images working for record/playback???

Anyone help me with a image that has a working record - playback feature.

Driving me nuts trying to find one that plays back from usb stick.

All the images seem to be able to record to the usb stick without problem but not playback.

Any sugestions welcome.

If that is too complicated how far back to in time since enigma2 changed way of recording????

As it explain's mate its patched to playback recording so are lots of other images now, as your problem is HD playback if your using external media it could be a bandwidth problem, just a guess as you dont say what media your recording to.

That could be the problem that the pen drives speed can not keep up with the HD bandwith as SD recordings are fine id say that was your problem.

I am experimenting with pli image you suggested sd recordings most of the time are fine sometimes freezing up too.

I ll let you know my usb is a kington 16gb data traveller

Here ara my findings playback of hd and sd works with pli image so it seems that is not usb pen it is the image itself.

One bad point pli image is not one of the fastest.

My 2 fav are sat4fun all new dreamelite and nemesis 2.3 093 both very good and fast .........

So the freezing youi noticed here on the PLI image is now gone ?

It seems so I only recorded ab 5 minutes of it no freezing earlier b4 I installed pli was using nemesis and freezing happening ......

Will record 1hour program ant then play it back and see....

This is deffo due to your storage device. Dreambox needs external power suplly for external usb recording devices. get yourself an external usb hub with power supply and you will not experience any recording/playback problems.

S... I thought mine where quick but if you mean from when you first plugin dm into mains you beat me .....
Just over 2 mins when I plug dm into mains
I get under your time only when I restart Enigma2........
I am gutted.....

S... I thought mine where quick but if you mean from when you first plugin dm into mains you beat me .....

thanks for your tried & the result.Yes what I mean is when I switch ON the main plug > booting... > channel show up takes about 1 min 28sec.... not restart enigma2 time I read from 1 of the forum, there is a guy said some new image (DM800) with new driver booting time about 1 minute but he never mention which are the image.... so when I read your post I thought that's the image he mention....
